ONDA Sake is a sake brand launched in Italy by LIBROM Craft Sake Brewery, a craft sake brewery based in Fukuoka, Japan.
LIBROM was originally established in 2020 with the vision of eventually brewing sake in Italy.
The name “LIBROM” combines the Italian words “libertà” (freedom) and “romanzo” (novel or story).
At LIBROM, we craft unique sake using traditional Japanese brewing techniques while incorporating a variety of ingredients such as fruits and herbs.
Sake is gradually gaining cultural recognition in Europe. Among European countries, we believe Italy is especially suited to embrace sake, as it is a land renowned for its food and art. Brewing sake in Italy, the leading rice-producing country in Europe, is also essential to the continued growth and evolution of sake culture.We are taking on the challenge of planting the spirit and techniques of Japanese sake brewing in a new land, and that land is Italy.
